Eindelijk naar FRED

Al jaren hadden we het plan om te gaan eten bij restaurant FRED in Rotterdam. Nu zijn wij geen super culinaire mensen, die ons verdiepen in alle details van een gerecht, maar het moest nu maar eens gebeuren. Op naar mijn naamgenoot als opmaat voor mijn verjaardag morgen. 

 

Nou, heerlijk hoor. Je auto voorrijden en de vallet-parking doet de rest. Dat gaat wat beloven hier in Rotterdam. We gaan voor het verrassings-menu, dus kom maar op. We hebben lol met z’n drieën. Ik vind het altijd heerlijk om om me heen te kijken en te fantaseren wie er aan welk tafeltje zit en waarom.  We lachen en laten ons verwennen. Het ene gerecht ziet er nog mooier uit dan het volgende. Knap hoor, maar voor mij is het echt over de top. We genieten, het smaakt fantastisch. Het is weer een zalige avond, maar de verhouding kwaliteit geld is compleet zoek. Nee, sterren restaurants staan niet op mijn bucket-list……
